Walker Weathers: Chief Instructor
After exploring many career paths in my teen years, I settled on aviation when a mentor of mine revealed how much he regretted never doing it. As much as I have loved flying, I discovered my real passion is teaching and sharing it with others. I have worked for as a charter pilot, and even interviewed at an airline, only to find those paths were not for me since they got in the way of what I truly love doing. I have now accumulated roughly 2000 flying hours over a span of about 5 years, with over 1200 hours of those instructing and I’m just getting started.

Jackson Riecken: Independent Instructor
Having an interest in aviation rooting to my childhood, it was only natural my dream involved airplanes. I’ve always had a passion for sharing new ideas with people and teaching. I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautics and finished my training at Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Being an excellent educator to me not only involves presenting the lesson material, but delivering it in a way that is both interactive to the student and allows them to think on their own. I am excited to join Concordia and can’t wait to share my passion with others!
